“Free Cece” from the Michigan Emergency Coalition to End War and Injustice

While the Michigan Emergency Coalition Against War and Injustice is joining the thousands around the country demanding justice for Trayvon Martin, we
also lend our voice to those demanding freedom for our sister CeCe McDonald. What further proof is needed of the racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic nature of the so-called “justice” system than the double standard being applied in these two cases. The murderer of an unarmed African-American youth, who was never threatened, is walking the streets, free to murder again. Our sister, CeCe, is charged with murder and intent to murder for the death of the racist, anti-gay, anti-trans nazi goon who provoked the fight that led to his death.

We will not stand for this! Drop the charges and free CeCe now! Pack the courtroom April 30!
